Substrate AI thus becomes a technology partner and will drive the adoption of AI in its operations.
Substrate AI, the BME Growth-listed artificial intelligence company that ideates, builds and scales AI ventures with proprietary technology, has announced an equity stake in academy digitization company Nabbu with 5.3%, an investment that is part of its strategy to acquire and promote businesses in which artificial intelligence plays or could play a relevant role.
Nabbu is a company led by Irene Chía and Jorge Vindel that offers traditional academies the possibility to digitize their courses and offer them through the Internet, enabling these businesses to reach more students and increase their revenues. Nabbu has been accelerated by Lanzadera, the Valencian accelerator promoted by Juan Roig, currently has more than 7,000 active users and is preparing its landing in Latin America.
Substrate AI enters the capital to be its technology partner and turn it into an AI-driven company, i.e. one in which AI is at the center driving sales, marketing, operations and, ultimately, all areas of the business.
"We know that AI is going to play a crucial role in the education sector and Nabbu is at the center of that revolution, that of AI-driven Edtech, offering the digitization of content that can then be consumed in many different ways, converting analog content into digital and driving e-learning, the key to entrepreneurship in the coming years." notes José Iván García CEO, Substrate AI.
"For us, AI has to be at the center of the relationship between academy, teacher and student, helping all of them to understand each other better and to improve every day both the content offered and the way it is offered and consumed," says Irene Chia, CEO of Nabbu.
Substrate AI was listed on BME Growth in May 2022 and operates as a holding of companies that sell, apply and develop artificial intelligence in their sectors with a focus on creating efficiencies that drive the economy on its path towards sustainability and emission neutrality. The companies that make up the Substrate AI portfolio develop and sell artificial intelligence solutions in sectors such as Healthcare, Agritech, Fintech, Human Resources, Energy and Education.
