Submits to the Shareholders' Meeting the approval of the corporate purpose extension.
Substrate AI, the Spanish artificial intelligence company listed on BME Growth, has called a shareholders' meeting at its new headquarters in Talavera de la Reina to vote on the expansion of the company's corporate purpose to include among its objectives the construction and management of AI data centers (AI factories).
Substrate AI has been working for some time on its new business plan that includes the construction and management of AI data centers, key infrastructures for the deployment of artificial intelligence in companies and governments. The company will market these artificial intelligence factories, not as spaces that companies can rent, but by selling computing directly to customers, either to train models or so that companies and governments can scale artificial intelligence in their operations securely by building systems in the cloud or on premise, training domain-specific models and creating constellations of agents with the Serenity Star agent creation platform.
Its first project is located in Talavera de la Reina, the town to which Substrate has moved its headquarters, and for which it has received a grant of 19 million euros from the regional government of Castilla la Mancha. This project was presented in January of this year and will be a data center of 10 mw of power (5+5) with an investment of 79 million that will create more than 50 jobs in Talavera de la Reina.
"We are working with the focus on being able to start the construction works of the data center as soon as possible, attacking all those aspects that are essential for this, such as financing, land, power, the technical project, equipment, or corporate aspects." notes José Iván García, CEO of Substrate AI, "For this we are closing agreements with first level partners such as Network Environments or Orbital materials, and with those travel partners we need to make this project a reality. And we are not going to stay only in Talavera, we are preparing our entire infrastructure plan to present it when it is ready".
In addition to this item, the meeting includes two other items on the agenda, which are standard delegations for the board to carry out, if it deems it appropriate, capital increases or convertible bond issues as part of the development of its business plans. These capital increases may or may not be carried out as appropriate.
Substrate AI, listed on BME Growth since May 2022, operates as a holding of companies that apply artificial intelligence to generate efficiencies and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economy. It is currently developing a strategic plan that consists of listing its subsidiaries and initiating the development of its computing infrastructure, with its first AI factory in Talavera de la Reina, which it intends to build in the near future.
